Welcome
The Ellwood City Hospital, located in southern Lawrence County, has been a part of the Ellwood City community since 1913 when a 10-bed hospital operated by one doctor opened in a private
home on Crescent Avenue.
Today, our Hospital has progressed to a modern complex with a newly expanded emergency room, a 46-bed medical surgical unit, a 6-bed intensive coronary care unit, an 8-bed maternity unit, a 10-bed geriatric psychiatry unit, and a 25-bed skilled nursing unit – as well as the following variety of diagnostic services and surgical services.
Visiting Hours
- General Visitation for those over the age of 14 is from Noon to 8:30 p.m.
- ICCU Visitation is 10 minutes of each hour for immediate family members only.
- Maternity visitation is from 1 to 8:30 p.m.
